    im looking for more information on retrieving this expansion and what it offers (whether it is worth getting or not) - is there ANY possible way to get a disc of this expansion (i dont want to rebuy 2142 all together with the new deluxe edition and i dont like downloading my games)?

    Not worth it, don't waste your money, it adds little, totally worthless.

    A few new things and three new maps, hardly worth it. Not to mention that the maps in the expansion are not played much.
