Is there a big noticeable difference between these 2 graphics cards?

If I bought a 9800m gts rather than a 8800m gts how much longer would it last and much better would the quality be?

it's not really going to last much longer, maybe a few months. Honestly, ceteris paribus, go for the 8800m GTS laptop if it's 100+ dollars cheaper.

It's a noticeable difference if all you play is 3dmark and you can distinguish a difference of 3fps or so.

Yeah they are practically the same thing. Though 3-5 fps increase is a bit noticeable in games that require higher frame rates like UT3 and those that already run pretty low like Crysis.

Get the 9800m gts... if it's not too much more than the 8800m gts.

Best to stay at the top of the game.

Like me... im selling my 6860 to get a 9800m gt or gtx system from my laptop dealer.

Yeah it is. But i know the guy lol. I love getting things cheap.

I actually think its better i get my 7811 fx for 750 instead.

He can get it for me at that price. And my current 6860 laptop is from him. So he has my trust 100%.
