    black screen in spore

    I have been playing spore the last week but today for some reason, right after i captured a new planet it kinda froze and made a wierd noise and turned black. The toolbar and cursor and stuff were still visible, but everything else was just black screen. I restarted the game and still the toolbar is there, but the galaxy is just a black screen.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

    specs are xps1530 - 2.2ghz c2d, 3gb ram, 8600m gt ddr3.
