    Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo processor T7200 (2.0 GHz)
    128MB NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) Go 7200
    2048MB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm)
    80GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive

Will i be able to use any rendering programs like maya, studio tools, etc? I know this graphic card is pretty weak, but i am just wondering if it is possible. Also will i benifit from a faster hdd? (7200rpm)

Well, yes, it should be ok, but you should really consider getting a 7400 or x1400 instead.

well i just wanna do some light rendering, i would go for the 7400 but it is not offered on any 14.1" note books. I know asus has some nice 14.1" notebooks with x1600 and the a8js with the 7700 go, but it is out of my price range. I am thinking about purchasing the dv2000t, for portability reasons. Photoshop should be working fine right? Since photoshop isnt graphic demanding.

Photoshop is fine on my x200m and the go 7200 is a more powerful gpu than mine.

Its possible. I have run it on older integrated cards before. Its not quick, but it works. And I think that is what you are looking for since you said light.
