    Most laptops don't let you use the screen as a input monitor, usually they only work for outputting onto another screen.

    No. Don't know what Asus is talking about, HDMI ports on laptops are HDMI out not in. You'd have to use a TV tuner input, which has lag that would interfere with gaming, etc.

    Adaptec Gamebridge. Then you can use RGB cables for it. But the quality will suck and there may be sound hiccups.

    Yea the TV tuner seens the only option, with maybe a second or two delay. You wouldn't want it.

    I second the gamebridge. You can pick one up from ebay for less than $10. The quality isn't the best, but if you use their software and play on the highest setting it is the same as playing on a regular TV. If you want HD graphics you won't be able to find somthing for less than $100.
