    can i overclock X3100 with powerstrip?

    I heard some people doin this but never seen it on this forum. is it possible? at lest the ATI 1150 is clockable with that program with is an on board IGP like x3100

    I tried and I couldn't..the settings seems locked. But maybe it was just me unable to do it :) Or maybe it was coz I have GL960 not GM965

    Yeah i just tried and the settings was looked on 200 mhz core and 200 mhz memory. Seems very low though i thought this card was suppose to be 400/500

    i think it reports it as 200 because it takes half of the core speed, idk why it does this..so you should be running around 400 core and 800 memory( times by 4 for the memory)

    The ATI X1250 could by quite some margin lol. At least on desktop boards.

    The memory clock is irrelevant; the card has no memory of its own and as such the shared memory it uses runs at the same clock as the system RAM.

    As for the core clock, it may be overclockable if you can find a software that can break the VBIOS lock on clock speeds - though it won't help a whole lot.

    According to Wikipedia, the X3100 has 400Mhz core clock, so it must be possible to get Powerstrip (or any other software for that matter) to get 400Mhz clock right?
