Hello,
I am going to purchase the dv2000t within this week. And would like to know if I can upgrade the GeForce 7200 GPU to lets say a GeForce 7600 or more later?
I though about the dv600t with the GeForce 7400 GPU but I really need a more portable machine.
Also, if the upgrade is possible, would there be any heat issues?
thanks in advance.

That's the video card, not the GPU.
And no, you can't upgrade it in your own. -
I do not believe it is possible. With a (very) few exceptions, you are stuck with the gpu you purchase.

GPU is the videocard
GPU=Graphical Processing Card; I believe. -
... Lol. XD
Ah well. I still got the answer right. -
Kinda a strange conversation....
so just to continue in the same way
Impossible is nothing
but
upgrading the dv2000t's video card is definitely impossible. -

Vespoli, is it impossible to upgrade, or do you mean only a trained technician can upgrade the graphics card.??
If it is basically impossible then I guess i have to go for the
dv6000t with the GeForce 7400 "Graphics Card".
thanks. -
impossible

I am not Vespoli!

Can anyone lock or delete this pointless thread?

No, you can't upgrade the video card, in your case, the 7400.
Only certain models and to a certain limit can notebooks be upgraded, and these area usually Dell notebooks(certain ones) and high end notebooks(Clevo/Arima rebadged) -

There is a sticky that specifically says you cannot upgrade your graphics card in the upgrades forum.
