Thats just ATi tray Tools saying that they realize that you want to clock at 710, but it thinks its more stable at 702, so it clocks it at that. But you could set it to 720, and it would clock it at like 710 or so.

my MAX core is 715 when it starts to get artifact. so i think 702 is fine then.

Newer nVidia driver don't overcklock on some cards. However, I think this only happens to laptops.

AtiTool does not function like that.

^^ It sure does. It tests your computers stability, and if it thinks that you are over doing the clock settings, then it clocks it down i bit.

ATITOOL doesn't clock down when you have set a clock. The find maximum clock functionality doesn't set the clock until it has found a stable one, but that thing is automated. The stability check is just that, a stability check. If you get artifacts it doesn't do anything but beep.

ATI Tray tools is another question, cause I haven't used that. But since that is only usable with ATI gpu's. That is a screenshot of ATITools, another program that's just for Overclocking. It work with nVidia cards, which the OP has. You may have those two confused.

Oh sorry about that, i thought we were talking about the same program here. I didnt realize that there was an ATiTools, and an ATi tray Tools. Sorry for the confusion.
