    cant get steam to work

    ok so I kept hearing how good steam is so decided to get it and for the past couple hours it wont update or install, I have tried so many things and it wont remove it of fix it, do I have to do a clean install of windows now, I get a error saying deleted steam.exe but the file is still there, like . anyone help I just want this crap gone.

    Uninstall it from the control panel (add/remove programs or programs and features) and then run CCleaner to get rid of any traces the uninstaller left behind.

    Probably there is an error in steam updating. That's why your are stuck now. What you can do is safe boot with networking (restart your laptop and keep pressing F8, it will bring a list of start up options) and then try to update or fix steam as usual. Once you succeed this, you will be able to unistall it afterwards.
