Thats very strange because new displays and graphics are are meant to stretch the image i.e. if you have a screen thats suports 1920 x 1200 but you choose to play the at 1280 x 800 the image will be stretched to cover the whole sreen. This use to hapen to me when I had my first laptop but that was like a Pentium 1 150Mhz with a 640 x 480 screen. I presume you've tried changing resolutions at the display settings in the game menu?

I think your problem is with scaling. Basically, if you're running a game in a resolution lower than your native res, it will not stretch the picture, and instead, will display it at "actual" size.

Fortunately, this is very easy to "fix" (some people like it centered that way, without the stretching). Go to the Nvidia Control Panel, and select "Change flat-panel scaling." Now click the button next to "Use Nvidia scaling".

This will stretch the picture to fit your entire screen.

What Joga said. Also, don't run games in another aspect ratio if you set it to "Use nVidia scaling". If, for instance, you use 1280x1024 when gaming and it stretched to full screen, it will not look good. If you don't mind black bars, set it to "use nVidia scaling with fixed aspect ratio". Then if you run anything at a resolution that's not the same aspect ratio as your screen (16:10) it will keep it's on AR and have black bars either on the sides on top and below.

yea well i was onfused i did 3 reinstall to this laptop but never had this problem althou i must admit this 3rd vista fresh clean install i made this morning was the first time i used the new 163.67 full version laptopvideo2go drivers. i went to the control panel chosen the advancemodeand selected theoption Change Flat panel scaling there was the option on "scalingwithfixeda aspect ratio... Maybe this isthe new 163.67 default settings so i change the option to just scaling and now it runs perfect.
