cant uninstall game!

hey all
i was recently given nwn diamond edition as a gift from a friend, and i installed it and entered the keys, unfortunately it didn't seem to install properly, as i kept getting an error when trying to run it.
when i went to uninstall it so i could reinstall again it wouldn't allow me to do this giving some error.
when i restored my pc back to an earlier date (wifi problems) the option to uninstall was gone completely in the startup screen.
my question is what should i do or how do i uninstall this game, i still have the original disc so that isnt a problem. i really just want to reinstall it so i can apply the patch to allow me to run it in vista.

Ccleaner (previously known as crap cleaner) has an uninstall feature that may work. It's free and cleans your PC of left-behind files from messy uninstalls too!

unfortunately i am still unable to play this game, the patch i was given to allow it to work, give me the message "unable to install patch on your version of nwn" when i went to the site and downloaded the critical update it seemed to have install 2/3 of the update then i got a error saying"error on line xxx update aborted"

its driving me nuts as my friend is running vista and the patch he sent to me worked perfectly for him patch nwnenglish1.68origupdate, if anyone has ideas id be most appreciative.

oh the version im using is the never winter nights diamond edition.

 

ok so ive sorted it out, im new to pc gaming and didnt look at my version of the game well enough, the reason i couldnt get the update patch working was because it was a earlier one than the version i had installed. so i installed the later one which then allowed me to install the critical update, which fixed the problem with vista, gave me some new quests and monsters etc.
yeah my first game on the pc.
