i got a laptop with 128MB (Shared) Intel GMA 950 graphics card,
i know this is not good for gaming, so to change a graphics card in a laptop, is it hard to do ? or can u even change it by urself ?

No, it's probably not possible to change your graphics, as they are integrated. Only a very small number of laptops, can have their graphic cards changed.

unless it is MXM or AXIOM, then you cannot change it..although some Dells will allow you to. however, just about every other laptop cannot have the GPU changed.

    pb,out.

Shared graphics :( means you would have to change out the motherboard and put in one that has a graphics card port/slot. But why bother?
Cost would almost be more than buying a computer with a Dedicated graphics card in it.
It appears my 915 mobo with a dedicated card slot is also able to utilize excess SODIMM RAM :D . PC Wizard 2006 indicates I have 256MB total graphics memory w/ 128MB or only a 64MB card GeForce 6600 installed. 64MB card OC easier also!

In case you haven't caught on after the other posts, the answer is- no.

Not only can YOU not do it, nobody can. If you want to get a better card, you have to get a better computer
