    There should be, yes.

I know I can use mine for Fallout 3, GTA IV, Crysis, Crysis Warhead, so I don't see why not.

Can you use it for any other games? Have you tried it on COD5 yet?

Dunno why you would want to use a controller on a PC game though. :)

Why on earth would you do that?

Have we really reached a state where you want to forsake the best combination of WASD and mouse, with a controller?

    Halo has ruined a generation.

i have played farcry2 and left4dead with the 360 controller no problem. I cant get it to work with COD5. I dont care whats more accurate. I would much rather have a controller its easier FOR ME! I dont understand why you guys are so competitve and must have the best accuracy. I play for fun

I find WASD stupid(unless on a special gaming keyboard). I find the mouse far superior though. So I accept the trade off.

My big question(since I know the 360 works with most games) is if the Split-Fish Frag FX works for the PC, it was originally designed for the PS3. (I hear the mouse on it sucks though)

people need to understand this is a generation thing

its like rappers old school rapping had a better lyrical flow and delivery

new songs suck lyrically but have good beats

OK........thats how old school and new school are in pc gaming old school still uses the keyboard and mouse

New school on the other hand uses controllers that's just the way it is. Though when it comes to shooting its hard to touch a mouse.

I dont think it has anything to do with competitiveness and such, but more of the idea that using a controller, instead of keyboard & mouse in a first-person-shooter, is a step in the wrong direction.

    Exactly.

It's not old school to use a mouse. Mouse + Keyboard play became standardlised in 1996 with the beginning of Quake. In the old days, of Wolfie and Doom it was all about the keyboard.

It's just such a shame, that people wanna stick with bad habits instead of learning something new. It's defintely not a generation thing. The ideology behind FPS is to be played with a mouse and not an analog stick. It's just playing them wrong.
The 360 controller is a fine controller. One of the best in a long time, but it's futile to play games like that. Nothing to do with being good. It's just like cutting your legs off. Much less mobile.

If you have never been used to having legs it might be weird to suddenly have them, but .. in the end you will appreciate it.

i dont think you undertand this is a generation thing of gamers anyone i know that is younger as soon as they see me playing a pc game they run for that ps3/360 controller point blank if you never used a keyboard and mouse to play games you wont start now.

Actually I dont care all that much, though time has shown me that it is people that join a CSS server, cod4/5 with a controller and NOT mouse & keyboard, are most of the time the ones crying out hacks, or how the gameplay is foul and give bad advice to others about good games.

LOL I have not played any of the CODs on the PC but from my experience playing them on consoles and seeing how painfully easy it is to be the top player in the game since almost no gun has slightly realistic recoil...I can't imagine how easy it is to aim with the mouse.

And I don't call hacks. i know I suck at fps. That's why I play single player most of the time

Ok so I downloaded the COD4 demo to my Sager and holy crap is it easy to snipe...even with the Dragonov!

I don't even have to use the steady gun(shift) when sniping. I think I'm going to pick up COD5 for my comp just because it's so easy.

Oh god yes. I knew I couldn't play on the keyboard with GTA IV, so I bought the controller the same day as I did the game. Absolutely LOVE IT!

And yes, I am still loyal to the keyboard. So no judging!
