I play C&C Zero Hour on mine with everything maxxed out on the highest resolution with only a slight boost from Power Strip needed and it runs like glass. RTS games normally don't tax a system like a FPS or RPG type game would. I'm not worried about running C&C 3 on this. I don't think you'll have a problem.

    Same here. I played Zero Hour w/ max resolution+ settings,but without overclocking the X1400 on a E1505 w/ CD T2500.

Since 7400go is not much diff. from X1400, you should be fine.

Is it necessary to overclock the X1400 slightly? Will it lag if you don't? Just curious. I oc'ed w/ powerstrip and ran zero hour, but noticed no performance gain compared to stock settings.

At WSXGA+ and highest settings it certainly helps. But won't C&C3 have a new engine not the Generals one?
