Just got an Asus laptop with Nvidia Go 7700 graphics card. So I'm a little bit confused by the names and drivers about various graphics cards........
Is there any difference between the drivers for deskop and for laptop? I noticed both Ati desktop and laptop cards use the name "x" series, such like x1600, x1300, x600. For Nvidia, however, their laptop cards have an "Go" before the series number such as Go7300, Go7700....So can I use the drivers for Nvidia desktop cards (7 series) to update my Go7700? Since I didn't find any website providing drivers specific to Nvidia "Go" card, and the drivers from laptop manufacturers are rarely updated.........
any commet, thanks!

If you just got the laptop, why do you need to upgrade the drivers?

The Go7700 is almost brand-new.
