connection interrupted Call Of Duty 4

Any one else experiance this when on multiplayer
I seem to get all the time at night , not so often in the afternoons.
I go out of the game and check my connection , (Im on 02 wireless 3G ) , there is always a good signal , so Im not sure if it is signal fluctuations or what.
Someone on another forum mentioned it could be the host.
Anyone with any ideas that could put my mind at rest.

Just 5 mins ago when i tried to go online, whenever I double click on a server to connect it takes ages and just says "Awaiting Connection"

Never has happened before to me.

 

do you get servers loading up with question marks instead of names and it never gives a full list of servers either ?? I get that right after connection problems

 

No they still loaded, but when i tried to connect to a server now, I refresh the server list and no servers appear.

 

Do you get a good connection during the day ??

 

You're gaming on a cellular network internet connection??

It could be lost of packet data, or even slow ping issues, and unreliable internet connection that's making you lose connection on COD4.

Also, alot more people use their phone at night, so the (Cellular) network is congested with all the traffic, but during the afternoon when people are at work/school, there seems to be less traffic so the (cellular) tower has more capacity for your data.

Yeah I am , well its the best I for me at the moment at it is all my father has so I cant complain , he only uses the net for email etc. And Im only there for the next couple months anyhow.
My ping seems to be fine mostly over 100 , sometimes over 250.
As for packet data Im on HSPA (WCDMA) at the moment not GSM as that seems to be slower. My HSPA has 3-4 bars most of the time - I dont know if that is good or not. Im not really complaining about it just interested in peoples answers.

 

you ping is "fine" at 100 - 250??

When it comes to ping the lower the better so try a server with lower ping times.

I also get the server issue. Where the first time i load servers they all pop up. But if i hit refresh all again, NONE come up, it happens in Steam games too. I think its a vista thing. I dunno how to explain it.
