I do understand your point, buddy. The M11x doesn't have stellar gaming performances when compared with a 12-pound lappy with a core i7 and SLI GPU's. However, the ratio 3DMarks per pound is one of the best if not the best on the M11x. Sure, I would prefer being able to lug my M15x onboard. But that's simply not a practical option to me. To me, having the M11x is better than having nothing so I can make a few sacrifices in the eye candy graphics. The good point about the M11x too is the switchable graphics. When doing non gaming stuff, it can easily sustain 7 hours on a single charge. Combined with some gaming, I could game let's say 2 hours on it and still have 2 more hours to watch a movie or do something else.

As for the M11x refresh, I wish they can cram a CULV i7 processor in it although I'm wondering what will be the impact on price, battery life and cooling (heat issues).

Its all speculation until it hits the site for purchase. I agree an i7 true quad would be nice... Lets see what happens.

i7 true quad won't happen. i7 ULV is dual core four threaded CPU. TDP is the key here, so as long as cooling is quite good as is overall system power consumption, an i7 ULV could perform well.
