Oblivion is awesome, and so is WoW. However, with your um..less than good GPU, you can only play older games, or games with very low requirments.

I'd check out the original Neverwinter Nights and first Halo PC game...those ran okay on an Intel GMA900 so the 200m should be a little better.

Wow should run okay, and I think that Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind would probably be okay too.

But yes, a majority of the games that you'll want to look at are going to be games that were out 2-3+ years ago. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Halo, NWN1, Diablo/Diablo II (great classics), and (super old but a great classic) Final Fantasy 7/8.

for your card, i suggest Halo, Warcraft III, Command&Conquer: The First Decade (best collection set ever), Diablo II, WoW, Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, Counter-Strike Condition Zero, and Need for Speed Most Wanted (carbon is so so). I heard someone run Counter-strike Source on low resolution on a geforce 5200, so maybe CSS will play on low settings for you.

Warcrafts 1-3, Total Annihilation, Homeworld, Homeworld: Cataclysm, Starcraft, Age of Empires 1 & 2, Half-Life, Medal of Honor Allied Assault, Call of Duty (snicker, duty...), Civilization 2 & 3, emulators out the wazoo...

On FF7, does anyone actually have that game anymore? I used to know a friend who had it but it was so buggy and screwed up on PC that it took forever to get running correctly. I should admit, however, that I maxed out the clock on Playstation on FF7...

You dont have to pay for anything unless you want to. Its that simple. An item mall exists if you want premium items (untradable) such as an exlcusive wolf pet (white) -although a grey version is available in game for 1M (i have one), chracter appearance scrolls, experience boosters, special potions, etc. The game is completely playable without even using the item mall, although I will probably use it to support the company and keep the game running. Amazing graphics and landscapes.

PS: remember to read the cartoon guide first; it's really quite amusing and informative at the same time.

Rappelz is also free and very similar to Silkroad Online. It's a bit newer and looks even prettier... I still wouldn't say these "exp hunting" games are very "cool". Be warned that they are very time consuming and highly addictive. :)

I'm more into shooters, really like Rainbow Six: Vegas at the moment.. Think it looks great and it's very realistic how characters move and other things handle. Very cool going down a building on a rope up side down then coming in through the window

Yeah, I found that out the hard way. I tried Rappelz out, but still liked Silkroad better. Just my opinion though.

America's Army is a great free online first person shooter with offline content that is alternately fun and boring as all hell.

Priston Tale is the best free online MMO I've ever played. It's a lot of grind but you get addicted quickly and they make you pay past a certain level so you can get pretty high then decide if you want to continue or not.

Other than that I love text based games. Haven't played one in years but I used to be an avid Dark Grimoire and Archmage player and one more which I can't remember the name of...

Since we're digging up old text based games, anyone remember Santa Paravia and Fumaccio? It was one of the first text based "sims" - you lorded it over a Medieval town and got to decide on tax rates and how much grain to doal out.

My friends and I hacked into the text portions of the program and changed the grain to "pizza" and the rats that ate it to a friends name who always mooched off us. We completely re-wrote the different deaths that you could suffer and I think we ended up changing the town names to "Klingon" and "Winnsboro" (my friend was from Louisianna).

It took us about fifteen or twenty times playing through it to figure out that the Apple //e's random number generator always started from the same spot and hence every game we played was identical to the last one so we threw in a piece of code to randomize the random number generator... Yeah those were the days...

I highly recommend playing the chronicles of riddick: escape from butcher bay. It might look like a bald statement, but believe me, its one of the best games i ve ever played, and considering that i played games like oblivion, half-life 2, halo 1,2, F.E.A.R and far cry, thats says quite alot.
