    Hi all

I have since 2 months ago a new laptop with a core duo processor in it. Now i have the question if it's possible to replace it with a core 2 duo processor (Merom)?

I know it isn't possible with normal pc's to replace a processor with a core 2 duo. But i also heard it must be possible with some notebooks carrying a core duo processor.

I just have to know if my laptop is well suited for core 2 duo processors. Here are my notebook specs:

    Intel core duo T2400 (1.83Ghz, 667mhz fsb)
    2047MB ddr2 667Mhz ram (yes 2047 in stead of 2048 ;) )
Nvidia go 7900gtx,500Mhz core and 600Mhz ram
    80GB 5400rpm sata harddisk.

I got the notebook from XXODD (also known as promedion), the type is "M570U"
