    Yes, it will play. Some **** computers even play 1.6, although there is another Counter strike, its called CS:source. That one requires much more stuff to make it run at high settings.

    But, yes it will run.

    That will run CS:S. All you have to do is look at the system requirements to see if it can play. You might want to complete the FAQ in the What Should I Buy forum so we can give you some recommendations.
