I hope someone can advice here.
I am looking for software that can show me cpu core speeds, AND thread speeds as well as monitor them over time.
I want this to test the difference of hyperthreading on / off against cpu cores ghz with turbo boost and core usage.
I can't seem to find a proper piece of software, like cpu-z and so on all fail to have just 2 of the features.
thanks

Throttlestop won't directly show you the Ghz on all threads, but you can easily calculate it through the multiplier (excel sheet for example). Logfile is supported.
-
Well what i want it for and need it for is to see it on the fly, so i can see how "fast" Ghz the different threads gets turbo boosted to under load.

Throttlestop shows real-time frequencies. I would recommend using the log file when you run your benchmarks. Just look at the time you start the benchmark and what time it finishes, then go the corresponding time in the log file.
I'm almost finished a similar set of tests, what CPU are you using? -
cool, I have an 620m i7 (duo core) 2.66Ghz (3.33 turbo boost).
-
In real time it's really difficult to see...
The values are changing too quickly.

Hmm, I was wondering this myself. Gonna try the throttlestop log while playing Fo3 and see if my CPU stays at 2.4ghz when using throttle stop with my dual-ida bios. Dunno why I never tried the log file on throttlestop when I used the GPU-Z log file to find out that my 256mb FX 570M is no match for the Fallout 3 high detail textures
= EDIT =
Not really digging the lack of information per core in the throttlestop log, is there any software that can monitor each core and log the performance and usage per core? -
Just run in a window and put Throttlestop up next to it.
cpu / thread / Ghz monitor software?
