    hi everybody,

i just bought a zalman nc2000 cooler for my hp pavilion 9500 notebook.it does it job and cools the notebook.when cpu is easilly cooled the fan doesnt spin fast actually 40 or 50 percent.

so my cpu is nicely cooled but my gpu is 60on idle sometimes 70 load at 86.

the notebooks fan only spins for cpu it ignores my gpu.

when i take off the cooler the notebooks fan spins more and i get a better gpu temperture.

so what i want to say is that:

    notebooks fan does 2 jobs.

1 is to cool to cpu 2 is to cool the gpu.

but when the cpu is cool because of the cooler gpu is not cool.

of course there is not a vent or fan for gpu gpu is always hot more than cpu it is 80 85 c while gaming.

how can i force fan to spin at its full speed whenever i want? because cpu is always cool but gpu is opposite.

i tried speed fan but it didnt detect the fan

No, You cannot control the fans. Sorry

80-85C on load is ok. Anything under 90C is fine. ;)

60C Idling is a little high, but not anything to worry about either. And a fine Idling Temp. :)

And yes, the fan seems to be mostly based on the CPU, although this doesnt matter because usually both temps go up together. :p
Also, it really doesnt need to go on anyway, at only 60C.
