    cpu temps for gaming? (laptops)

    How much are safe temps? Like on my c2d t5750 i hit ~70-75C on both cores while playing cod4 for prolonged times.

    Though, if they do go higher (80-85) range, then you might want to start worrying.

    Are you using a notebook cooler?

    Sort of the borderline - anything higher would be too high imo. Lots of gaming notebooks, or notebooks while gaming, run on the very warm to hot side :/ 75ish is where I'd start to worry with CPUs, 90+ for gpus, 60+ for HDDs.

    My cpus run at 55-58C gaming, gpu around 66-68C, hdd 50-52C (assassin's creed 1680x1050, maxed, few hrs). Also depends what the notebook is - 17inch ones run a lot cooler (larger chassis, usually more fans).
