    idk if this has happned to anyone else with a dell inspirion 1520 and a 8600mgt but i cant rely play crysis....my specs are 2 gig ram, 2.2 ghz t7500, 8600mgt and in crysis everytin is set to medium and 1280x800 ive even tried 1280x720 res but this is wat keeps happening...

    idk if its the comp, driver, or gpu but i keep seeing black spots and the textures are all messed up...anyone know wats wrong//.? plz help a noob out btw the pool of blackness u see in front of me is suppose to be water...BTW IM RUNNING WIN XP HOME SP2

    Could be your drivers, what drivers are you using?

    IU have the exact same specs and I run crysis med - high (i would recommend turning shadows and volumetric to low for like a 10 FPS boost) and I get about 25-30 FPS usually unless I'm fighting those damn ridiculous aliens with all the snow and all.

    its not rely tha teh game is unplayable....it just the gfx are messeup up...its not to do with fps either jus look at my othe ss...its not rendering the textures for ppl or some items..btw im using factory drivers........BTW IN COD4 I GET 21-25 WITH EVERYTIN HIGH AND 4XAA(SPECUALR MAP TURNED OFF) BUT IDK Y IN THIS GAME ITS MESSING UP

    nevermind i unistanlled the old driver and dled the new driver from dell.com and it works good now :D ty very much guys for reading his post and tryign to help me much thanks
