    Started at hardcore.

I always play a game at the hardest level. I get my arse kicked for a few times but then instincts kick in and force me to find a way to defeat enemies.

At the end of the day as powerful as an enemy is, the most powerful entity in the game is the player, for he has the power to turn back time and change the results (quick save and quick load) ;)

Warhead: Soldier: Look at the size of that thing! Is it an Alien? Physco: Lets just kill it!

    yankee dogggggg!

I played the first on hardcore, til I found out you couldn't shoot without changing positions in the vehicles to the gunner spot. Then just played normal, beat it, and played it on hardcore again. I never tried warhead on hardcore since there's so much driving and shooting I saw in the trailers, I didn't think it'd work very well. I've also beat about 40 or so downloaded singleplayer missions on whatever the default was since I used crytools to load them. Don't know how long I've played it though.

These two are the easiest games on delta level I have seen. Beat Crysis 6 times on delta and Warhead twice.

Warhead takes a day to beat; at a leisurely pace on delta.

I want warhead, but considering I spent more time tweaking the original Crysis than actually playing it, I'm a tad hesitant.

Warhead is much more optimised. Expect to be able to bump up the details another level (or resolution) and have same performance as crysis.

yes Jwest. You will be playing with the graphics up another level. Ex. if you play on med. then you will be playing on High on warhead.

I played Crysis on Normal first time through, then Delta the second time. Finished both times. Sometimes i will go in and play a few KPA levels again if I feel like it, usually on Delta.

Warhead I played on Normal I think. But truthfully it was pretty easy. I should have bumped the difficulty up. I only played it once but it deserves a second play through for sure. Just so many games to play lately. :)

I honestly felt crysis the first one was one of the hardest games i ever played i mean it. The beginning level where your on the island there are like 100 enemies there and once you get spotted you gotta buck if you didnt have super abilities in that game you could never win :D

So with all this talk of Crysis, I went ahead and re-installed Crysis Warhead.

I don't know if its Windows 7, or what, but I'm getting phenomenal FPS on this game now.

With this config (I'm using the one for max quality), I'm getting 20-30 FPS constant at 1440x900, and it looks exactly, if not a bit better than enthusiast settings.

never made it through the game.. got bored fast but i've been meaning to pick it up again. i play on normal... I don't know how people can play the same game more than once. i could never do that with any game. well gears of war i beat multiple times cuz it took less than a day and the hardest difficulty was pretty fun...

Even without suit you can hide in bushes and snipe from a long way off. Plus the AI in crysis 1 especially is quite dumb

Agreed, the key for me was good sniping on Delta. Also lots of movement, duck and cover when long range sniping wasn't an option, like in heavy forested areas with lots of KPA. The cloaking definitely came in handy in those situations.
