Yes, iv'e heard of them. I have one too. They are top of the line for gaming, looks arent always great, but...quality is #1. Thier support is so-so, but you probably wont have to use it. They do stand behind thier product though.
--I'll P.M. you with more info that you will find helpful.

    Hope I could Help

    Two Words: Stay away.

A couple of my friends got screwed over by them big time. Got faulty laptops then customers service took 2 weeks to contact and when they sent it back it took them another month to get it back and later they got it back and problems started again a week later.

Well, lets face it--every brand has its problems, its just if it it you or not who experiences it.

A Cyberpower would be good for you, there are always better PC's, but it is a good brand. :)

I agree. I have a cyberpower computer sitting over there, which was not worth the hassle ONE BIT. $150 more for a computer which is made from quality parts (think dusty HDDs sitting on shelves next to a bucket 'o' RAM on top of the stack of mobos) is definitely worth it, unless you like spending hours on the phone with incompetent support people.

    Takes FOREVER to ship...

HDD arrives dead (rattled inside case in shipping, not attached properly), replacement arrives but the OEM restore CD won't install cleanly (they didn't bother to install the stuff they had on my original computer), tech support says "well, what can ya do?!" Maybe so, but thats great customer service! After a couple of days of dead time, I finally get it to complete the install... try, try again.

A year later something else goes wrong with the hard drives. Tech doofus 1 says "Your HDDs are definitely fried." I reply that I don't think so, because it recognizes that they exist and gives me the option to configure a RAID. We get "disconnected."
Tech doofus 2 says "Your HDDs are definitely plugged in backwards." Uhhh... what? They're plugged in like they've been plugged in for a year, working fine, except the install problem. When I got the replacement drive, I just swapped the cable to it, nothing on the mobo. I try swapping the plugs anyhow. Doesn't work. We get "disconnected" again. Great.
I get Tech Doofus 1 again. Apparently, there are two guys sitting in a room answering calls. Cyberpower actually does its own 'extended' support. I tell him what TD2 told me, and he says no, they're definitely fried. He says that I can ship them back, if I want. I tell him I don't think they're really fried, and will he help me troubleshoot some more? "Disconnected."
TD2 again. He's still on his 'plugged in wrong' kick, despite what TD1 says. He eventually says I should go ahead and configure my two, different sized, HDDs for raid0. I say, won't that wipe them? (At this point, I'm not as tech savvy) "No, go ahead and do it." "Are you... sure?" "Yes!"

    ...

Long story short, I take the computer into the local shop. I pay them to tell me "Oh, you need to reset your BIOS, just move this little jumper. Yup, that should do it.... but your hard drives are blank?"

I reinstall, and I'm up and running again.

Moral of the story: Assume anything cyberpower ships out will be broken and/or require assembly. Tech support is strictly DIY. Buy at your own risk, but a couple friends of mine got working stuff.

I was seriously considering buying a CyberPower laptop before I bought my Sager from Powernotebooks. That was until I read a lot of the reviews on Resellerratings, and saw that they had over 300 complaints with the Better Business Bureau.

I had actually placed an order with them, until I changed my mind. I emailed them to cancel, then called to make sure it was going to happen, and the Customer Service Rep yelled at me for cancelling my order. Didn't ask me why, or try to convince me to keep it, or anything. I got yelled at and hung up on.

Like everyone else has said. Stay Away!
