Sry for asking all this on here. Once my steam account is activated, I will post any steam questions on there.

I want to get a game through steam right now, but I plan on installing Windows 7 some time in the future (most like a clean installation). If I get a game through steam, and do a clean installation of windows 7, will I still be able to get my game back? It seems as if steam will only let you download and install your game only once, which kinda sucks.

Steams lets you download the game as much as you want. But you can only play the game as long as the steam account your logged into has the game activated to there profile.

You don't need to deactivate any Steam games. You can have your Steam games installed simultaneously to as many computers as you want, but you can only be logged in on one at a time.

    ^^What they said. :D

After not playing Counterstrike or having Steam installed for about 5 years, I was able to download Steam, login to my account (after retrieving the password :D) download the games I had back then and start playing. It works out nicely. :D

Yes, as above the games are tied down to the steam account. Its not possible to deactivate games.
