I've been running nvidia inspector while playin WoW tonight and it seems that the GPU Usage drops sporadically and it doesnt seem to change my FPS in game, but it does seem to glitch it for a second. Any help getting rid of the throttling??

There's reported problems for the dell 680M.

Try flashing it with a custom vBIOS from Tech Inferno.

Have they came out with a good vbois flash for the dell 680m? I thought it wasn't acting that well with the vbios flash. Or am I way off?

Hmm, I only see one available OC vBIOS on Techinferno. Might try that one

This might just be an unresolved issue caused by the new Kepler dynamic clocks. Ideally it should drop your speed but not effect your performance on older games. The fact you are getting a glitch seems to me like it could be a driver issue that they will resolve eventually.

It's normal, GTX680M will automatically downclock the core and memory clock when the GPU power isn't heavily needed. Don't only watch the GPU usage, watch the memory and core clock as well, you should notice the GPU usage drops when the clocks increase. During this process the FPS isn't affected because even the lowered clocks can handle that FPS. This GK104 chip is different to Fermi models, it has a range of dynamic clocks on both the core clock and the memory clock, and the detection of the clock zones to be put into use is pretty aggressive on the GK104. It's also why the GTX680M runs so cool in most games that aren't using 99% of the GPU power. And the glitch is probably just a driver issue.
