computer idling, i8kfangui reports temp of gpu at 69, everest says 77, fan is running all the time but is blowing cold air out. I've closed off all the gaps so the air flow is through the heatsink but no change, any suggestions?

Welcome to the NBR forums. :)

idle temps can be ok.. since they are different from system to system.

what are the full load temps?

you can use RivaTuner or HWmonitor to find that out.... do a 3DMark06 test.

If your GPU temps exceed 90C degrees, then you definitely need to clean out the vents and fans... please visit the NBR Cooling Central.
