well i just found out my friend bought an 8600gts and not the 8800 for his desktop, lame ****. My question is how well will this game be able to play high end games like crysis, i know its much better than my 8600gt in my notebook.

the 8600GTS is a great bang for the buck DX10 desktop card.

it outperforms the 7900GS and is almost up to par with the 7900GTX.

it should be able to play any current game at max settings, and newer/upcoming games at mid-high (to get 30+ FPS)

the new 128-bit cards perform as well (or better) than the previous 256-bit cards.

I thought the 8600 GTS performed the same or worse than the 7900GS. I know it did with the x1950pro.
