As with all the other blizzard games, I think Diablo 3 will also be very flexible with system specs/requirements. However, since there hasn't been any official word released from blizzard...so we can't be certain as of yet, but I have confidence that ati 3450 will be able to handle that game. Maybe someone else can chime in to help out.

Phil77777 i think you will do just great
judging the Looks of the game, it will be using the CPU more than the GPU, and you have a great one, so you should do just great
-
the game will not be as graphically intensive as some newer games, but it will still be pretty good. i think your card will run it just fine. Blizzard is focused more on the gameplay then graphics, check out the diablo 3 site.

You should be able to play D3 on anything
-
That's the beauty about Blizzard: their games can be run on a various range of PCs. From what I read about StarCraft II, it won't be a system hog, and yet it might utilize DX10 and other extras for those who have better systems. I wouldn't be surprised if they take the same approach with Diablo 3.
-
Diablo 3 doesnt support DX10 only Starcraft 2 does

Like the rest of these posters, blizzard is very kind with their system requirements, very smart move on their part. Also most blizzard games have been more intensive on the CPUs than GPUs and CPUs are ahead of their time.
So, take it easy -
Will all of the environment details wonder if it will just be an option then...I've been reading/and seeing from the preview, that the details are very precise:/...Cloth blowing, particles flying from explosions...looks like a lot of 'phsyx' stuff. Wonder how that will scale down...
-
Dont worry about that
you can count on Blizz
-
lol you will For SURE be able to run Diablo III on your pc

afaik, no one knows much about diablo 3 except that its coming out and a few screenshots. -
and i think he will max it on native.
-
Blizzard can be trusted indeed. Let's just let them come out with the games.
-
I've been wondering about this too. As far as I can see, this is the only game that I'm really looking forward too that I will stick with...I can't tell you how many hours I spent on D2.
I know no one really knows yet, but assuming that it's similar to the SC2 specs, I think we would have something to base it off of?
Do you guys think a laptop with the 9800m GTS card will be future proof enough to run D3? -

Blizzard has a way with making games playable on a variety of systems. This is smart marketing wise as they get more customers for a new game, but hurts the visual pleasantness of the game. Basically visually even at the highest settings blizzard games aren't that pleasing. As for it working on your card, Im sure youll be able to at least play the game. Although how well and at what settings I cant tell you as they are using a "custom" engine that resembles the havok engine. Either way hopefully there will be some dual core and/or SLi patch so people with more powerful systems can play with a higher level of detail.
-
as long as physx stays away and they stick with Havoc, everybody is fine
-
-
You can't really play the guessing game. In any case, I wouldn't worry. Blizzard is in the business of making money, yes money, not games. They will release the game to work on whatever the market specs is at the date of release. This will ensure the most installed base. Trust me. I know
