Not sure about DiRT but GRiD is pretty similar, and made by the same people.
    I get 30-60 FPS on it with a OC'd 9800m GS at 1366x768 with 2xaa.

That is true but GRID is optimized and runs much better. In my laptop I can get 25-30 fps steady medium-high settings. Dirt (the demo) was around 14-19. So expect a bit lower than what dancom96 is getting.

I get a solid 60FPS on GRID with 1920x1080, max settings and 4xMSAA.
DiRT is a completely different story. I remember struggling to keep it above 40FPS on 1280x800. If I recall correctly, disabling the post-processing (can be done using a small utility) helps loads.

Thanks for the comments everyone :) it was really helpful. I was running dirt on my new G71GX and I was only getting like 30 frame rate and on less busy levels I would get 40ish. So I was getting a little worried; however, you guys really relieved my tension lol.
