so i got myself a pair of surround sound headphones today, and i was wondering if these will work on my notebook. do most games out now support surround sound?

Some of the newer games do. You need to look on the back of the game to see if it does. Your headphones should work with your notebook as the surround sound is built into the headphones.

Surround sound on headphones is a gimmick, you'll get much better sound stage from a decent pair of regular stereo headphones (A700, AD700)

how so? does it not really provide surround sound?

What brand did you buy?

thats pretty much a standard headphone with a subwoofer lol
looks like they suckered u out on a pair of "surround headphones"
well at least it has good range 20hz-20khz, thats pretty much the human range of hearing at least for newborns most of us have a range of like 40hz-18khz
if u want true surround headphones try going with bose, Dolby, Yamaha or Srs
i highly recomend Dolby, they are the guys that pretty much pioneered surround sound
itll cost u a pretty penny tho
do surround sound headphones work on a notebook?
