I remember playing Doom 3 two or three years ago, and I only got through just a little bit of the game, but now I'm thinking about playing it again. The question I have is that I remember that damage is the same for headshots and shots to other parts of the body - is that true?

    Thanks!

I own Doom 3 and I never really noticed a difference. I used mostly the shotgun up close on zombies, imps and other small demons, it was always one shot, one kill. There is no sniping in Doom since demons always jump you when you're close to them.
It's a fun game, I enjoyed it a lot. Now that its in the bargain bin you can't go wrong IMO.

Yes i should remeber that with an headshot you can kill a zombie with 2 shots instead of 4-5 shots on body

What does it really matter? Doom is a nice experience anyway.

I don't remember there being localized damage in Doom 3. But in a game like Doom 3, it's not really a huge loss.

Now Quake 4...I love that game, but every time I play it I can't help but feel like "why can't I shoot it in the head?!?"
