Why when i use the other driver from laptopvideo2go such as the new one they have which is 87.08 i get a low score of 7100sh, and when i use the one i always been using 84.25 from laptopvideo2go also i get a better score of 7200sh.........stupid question, does this mean that the 84.25 works better for me?

Dunno why, but I spent 3-4 hours today finding the perfect driver for my M170. I tried both the drivers you stated, and many from a couple different sites (if your interested I can tell you every driver I tried). I have found that the 84.25 is, in my opinion, the best. This driver keeps my idle temp at 58 degrees most of the time (the other drivers made my card idle at 64 or higher), and my peak temp was much lower than the other drivers. I also got a 6747 non OC (which is my current highest). It seems to be the most stable. As for your score, keep an eye on the temps. The 84.25 may be faster, but it might make your peak temps hotter. Or, like in my case, your temps could be lower while still achieving the better score.

Different drivers have different optimizations; some of them may cause a slight decrease or fluctuation in performance in various benchmarks, such as you have found in 3DMark05. Remember that 3DMark is a synthetic benchmark; games are much more important.
Read the release notes for the driver to see what they update and/or fix. I would go with a newer driver regardless of whether or not I lost 100 points in 3DMark for the sake of better performance in games. If the older drivers work better in games than the new ones, stick with 'em.
