I'm a little confused..i have a sony laptop, does that mean i can install any drivers? (even from other manufacturers?)...because my version is old and there are higher drivers out but only listed untill other manufacturers. the reason why i ask is because i thought nvidia drivers are what you call it? "uniformed structions" where you can install any drivers and it still works.
So why do they still list them under the laptop brand? thansk

For maximum compatibility its best to stick with the drivers from your laptop manufacturer but these tend to lag behind the latest version of the driver released by NVidia. The ones from LV2G also unlock options hidden in the normal driver e.g. no of frames to render ahead.
I use LV2G v84.63 without a problem but the latest ones from Asus for my laptop are 82.93. -
Thanks...are there not any standards one for all?
drivers from laptopvidoe2go-r they compatable?
