hi, for some reason when i load up driversweeper to get rid of my drivers right now, i bring teh nvidia display to the right side and click sweep and it asks me if i want to continue, i do so and it does "SOMETHING" but it definitely does not remove my display driver because its still installed.

can anyone assist me? i need to remove this driver. i never had this problm before with this program, am i forgetting smoething?

I think you have to uninstall the driver first. :p

Go to control panel. System, device manager and go to display. Click uninstall driver. Check delete driver software. Driversweeper is not to uninstall the driver but to remove traces of it in the registry. You can use ccleaner or any other registry cleaner for the same purpose.

It mostly removes the traces from registry.

well i just ran driversweeper and this time it worked. i didnt do any uninstalling of the drivers manually through control panel. it appeard as though it removed teh old driver and i have the new one running now. should i redo the process by uninstalling through control panel first?

I have a question about driver sweeper too. I try to use it to clean up my video driver, but it asked me for a XP Pro SP 3 CD. my sp3 was downloaded from MS, how the heck can i fix this?

^^ Don't worry about that. Just click cancel and it'll replace it.
