    Will all games come in both dx9 and dx10 format for the next 2 or 3 years?

    Probably so. DX9 is still mainstream.

    Because I really want to be able to play diablo 3 but if I have a DX9 gfc will I be screwed or would you risk it?

    Blizzard will probably make Diablo 3 compatible with dx9 too... they've got a great track record for having their games work on low spec comps.

    Diablo 3 is PURE DX9 as blizzard stated, maybe they will change thier mind in 6 months or so, But the game will be mainly coded for DX9

    Diablo III doesn't require DX10 so its safe
