i just got my new laptop and tried to play empire earth on it and it starts and works fine until i try to start actually playing.
empire earth then closes down and tells me windows is searching for a solution but it can't find one.
so i tried to run it in compatibility mode but that didn't work.
my laptop is running windoows vista home premium 64 bit.
    it has 4 gb ram
    2.4ghz
and 256mb graphics ati hd mobility 4750
does anyone no how to fix this?

    1. Have you tried patching the game to the latest version?

    2. Have you tried installing the newest video card drivers?

which patch i found 1.0.4.0 here
    http://www.gamershell.com/news_1214.html
but im not sure if it will address the vista issue.....seems to be a common problem...

which is a shame as my mum just sent my copy over to me and im also running vista64.

let me know if you get a fix.
    Goodluck
