    experiencing BSOD ... need advise

    i experience BSOD only when playing a particular game(mu online)
    other games that i play are ok
    im using an asus m50vm-a1(stock)
    anyone knows why this happens? thanks

    and what are the possible effects of the bsod on this laptop?

    could be you need a driver update
    the game needs an update
    or the installation got corrupt or something

    if its my driver just wondering why bsod only happens when im playing that particular game

    oh and i think bsod on this game happens only when running vista ...
    never had problems way back when i was still running XP before ...

    BSOD are almost always driver issues. And yes, drivers can cause BSODs when running a particular application, like your game. It doesn't have to be a generic or broad action to cause BSODs.
