    if i was to buy an external hdd, and install games onto it, w/ usb2.0 plugged into my laptop. would i be able to play the games?

    would the games be any slower(lag a little) or would it just be slower to load?

    yes you can install it there and run the game but yes it would be slower... although if you get an eSATA drive - that might not affect the speed

    They would only be a little slow loading up, and overall performance should still be okay.
