The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    external monitor issue

    i have a gtx 260m and i depend on my external monitor which is full hd and supports 1900*1080 and while i was able to run this resolution on vista somehow i can't on windows 7.i've used alot of drivers and currently using DOX 195.62 and the maximum resolution i am able to get is 1600*1200 and i tried forcing the 1900*1080 in nvidia control panel in custom resolutions but still with no result
    does anyone have a solution for this?
