Simply put, no. Think about it - how would you implement Slow Motion in a multiplayer game?

Yeah, you can if you play in a slo-mo game (it will say so in the game type). Basically, it works like a powerup that is put somewhere in the map, and if you get it, everyone on the other team slows down (move slower, and their mouse sensitivity temporarily lowered to simulate being slowed down), while your team, still moving at normal speed, mows them down.

It's pretty fun, but there aren't too many servers that play slo-mo matches.

    Sounds pretty unfair to me.

Yes you can play Slow-mo in Fear combat in slow-mo maps. There is a slow-mo gadget that glows in the map - all see it on their HUDs. The one who takes it glows too and all know where he is because you can see his distance on the HUD. So it is not unfair. It is actually very interesting.

I didn't know there were people playing F.E.A.R in MP. I think I'm gonna give it a try.

fear multiplayer (aka fear combat) has a large fanbase because it is absolutely FREE. you can download fear combat (the full multiplayer game) and get a cd key completely free from www.joinfear.com

Yes and it lacks game statistics so I have made the whole site about it:
http://gamestats.sail.hr - see how players played, kills, deaths, averages per maps etc. You can even get medals, and ranks. Still in development and a completely new more FEAR like design is coming this month! As far as I know this is one of the best FEAR MP stats (not design) ever (other people told me so). :)

    See if they were right.

    Cheers,

    Ivan
