fifa 2010 resolution

hi it is me again with another problem i just instaled fifa 2010 and i cant get the max resolution witch is i have 1680*945 but in a game the max i can do is 1280*800 kind a strange i have grid gta iv and nfs shift and other games with max resolution i cant only get for fifa 2010 even 2009 also with pes pro . any idea

my pc spec

intel core 2 duo 2.0 ghz

4 gb ddr 3 ram

512 mb nvidia geforce 9600m gs

os windows 7 64 bit

 

Now how come you got Fifa 10? Its releasing next week.

 

well forgot to mention it its demo

 

Could you please update your drivers if they are old ones and you can try editing the resolution manually.

 

i have the latest version form my driver already , and will u plz explaine how to do it manually?

 

Ok then try this
You can force that resolution by creating a file called locale.ini in the FIFA 10 directory and adding this line to it: RESOLUTION = 1280x800x32( what you want)

to create the file:
Open notepad
Add the RESOLUTION line above
save the file as locale.ini in the C:\Program Files\EA Sports\FIFA 10\ directory, and change 'save as type' to 'all files'

 

Some Demo's (Developers) will limit the resolution or ultra visuals on their trial games.

The full game will support 900P, 1080P for sure.

Though there should be a way of cracking it as mentioned above, it's usually only an artificial limit.

 

I can easily max out on 1920 X1200 on demo so it must be some problem with his system. Anyway, try the steps and let us know.
