found the secret to BF2142

knife and defibrillator only maps. I know many of you probibly already knew that but I am stating it for the guys like me that didn't know.

I had played as recon for almost 14 hours and only had 890 points to show for it. then last week my roommate got bored and tried a knife only server and wow did he rank up fast. he went from 8xxx points last week to 21xxx by last night. I started knifing 3 days ago and went from 890 to 61xx by last night. my roommate and I take turns as squad leader and we get probably 75% of our points that way. tell your squad to attack/defend a flag and every kill they get near that flag gets you a squad leader success point. oh, and every 8 knife kills you get gets you a 20 point pin. I have been walking away with between 20-45 kills every round so thats a lot of points in pins alone. after you get 50 total kills you get a 500 point knife badge and at 150 total kills you get your 1000 point knife badge. its also a great way to get time in service for the 4 classes so you can get your class badges. wish I had known this sooner lol

anyone else know a great way to get ranked up fast? please share if you do.

 

Thanks for sharing. I stopped playing BF2142 a few weeks ago (no real reason) but I'll try to remember this if I start playing again.

 

I would not recommend playing in defib,pistol,knife only servers.

They are against BF2142's ROE and you can have your stats reset if you are caught.

It is considered STAT padding. Do not do it, do not risk it.

 

That url doesn't work do you have anywhere else that says that? I haven't been able to find anything one way or the other on the forums and EA pages.

I really do not see what all the fuss is. Why do they care how people rank up?

 

EA wants everything fair, so that no one can use widescreen, everyone can play, and they can steal, I mean take money from everyone.

 

Because it is unfair to other players.

Under their rules every server must be run like an online multiplayer game must be run.

Their rules, no exploits, sure, some servers can add their own rules like no base camping etc...but they cannot limit the types of weapons used and such.

If you are going to rank up, do it the legal way, don't play in a K&P server where is a rip-off to get points.
