Audio is working over HDMI with the 270.61 drivers.
Forgive me if this is old news, but I though the geforce 9000 series as well as all MXM 2.1 g92 based cards did not support it?

I guess all I can say is it surprised me, to say the least, when I unplugged the stereo and the tv was playing music. :D

They have always supported audio over hdmi. What they do not support is bitstreaming which might or might not be a dealbreaker for some people.
