Specifically i was wondering how the 128mb x300 does on BF2. I can run cod1 perfect and cod2 alright with some OC.

I can play bf2 on my ati 200m 128mb dedicated. res set to 1028x768 and mostly low settings and some medium. No lag and playable. I would recomend turning shadows off as well as dynamic lighting. You should be fine as your card is a little bit better then mine.

Do you know who you are talking with? That guy has set the world record overclocking a low-end videocard to the extremes! Just joking mate. :)

Well I think you can play BF2 just fine. But not on native resolution of your Dell. Medium settings should do fine on 1024*768.

Try looking up benchmarks for the desktop ATI Radeon X300, see what type of framerates it gets. I'd think the X300 should be able to handle BattleField 2 on low/medium settings, SVGA (800x600) resolution.

LOL i believe flav cool holds the x300 record at 2001 but thats with optimized memory timings.

I might have to check out bf2, looks like i'll be able to handle it fairly well.
