    games with an x3100

    so i tried playing wow and cs 1.6 on a toshiba satellite, with 3gb of ram, vista home premium 32bit, intel core 2 duo and the dreaded x3100 graphics card, and there is always a black border, wow runs okay, with mid 20 fps. however cs fails to fully load, it loads up the title screen, the picture with the 2 guys, but the buttons "new game, servers, option, etc." fail to appear, even after waiting a while, and console doesnt work, and to quit the program i have to alt-tab, and end hl.exe process. so both these games have a black border and i want to get rid of it. running my laptop on highest resolution, but im going to put the games in the lowest resolution. thanks for any help.

    Well all i know is that X3100 sucks on CS 1.6. I however run CSS at medium/high details with over 30 FPS stable

    so update, my new drivers did remove the border, but the cs crash/freeze still occurs.
