The most important factor for gaming is the GPU (Graphics processing Unit), simply put : the VGA card. Faster GPUs produce lot of heat therefore they cannot be put inside smaller notebook chassis. But, bigger notebooks (like 17”
doesn't always have good GPUs. You have to check the GPU model. nvidia Go7900 GT series GPUs are currently the top of the line. However that will soon change with highend Go 8xxx series cards. But for now Clevo D900C with Go 7950GTX is one of the best gaming notebooks you can buy.
However if you are planing to buy a high end notebook, then better wait for a while till high end DX10 cards come out. -
is the M570ru good? and is their a 20inch equivalent 2 it...and wont DX10 be compatible w/ them anyway?

The M570RU will most likely become on of the best gaming notebooks on the market. Its predecessor, the M570U, certainly was one of the best gaming notebooks. There are a few 20" notebooks on the market, but most still have the older 7 series graphics cards. HP released a 20" model, and it has a HD 2600 XT, which isn't the fastest graphics card.

I'm not sure if bigger means better, but in most cases, when you buy a bigger laptop I think the graphics card are usually better (not necessary high end). I don't see the need for the fingerprint scanner so you might want to save your money on that and upgrade on your graphics card or what other people said upgrade your GPU/CPU/Ram.
