    I am 99% sure you you need Half Life 2. If you didn't get the original game and only the episode I don't think it will work.

    You need CSS, HL2, and HL2 Deathmatch to play it. But the GOTY edition of HL2 comes with all 3 of those so just buy that and you'll be set.
